This website, upwellventures.co.uk, is operated by Upwell Ventures Ltd (“we”, “us”), a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17523917, with its registered office at 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about anything in this policy at contact@upwellventures.co.uk.
The short version

- We do not sell personal information or share it for marketing.
- If you email us, we use what you send only to reply and to manage our conversation with you.
Information we collect
When you contact us
The contact form on this site does not send or store anything itself. It opens your own email app with a message addressed to us. When you send that email, or email us directly, we receive your name, email address, any organisation you mention and the content of your message.
When you visit the website
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. To deliver pages and protect the site against abuse, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This information is processed by Cloudflare on our behalf as a processor and is not used by us to identify you.

Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run this website and our email, such as our hosting and email providers, and only so far as they need it to provide their service. We may also disclose information where the law requires us to.
International transfers
Some of our service providers, including Cloudflare, may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US data bridge.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as the conversation is active and for up to two years afterwards, unless the conversation leads to an ongoing relationship, in which case we keep relevant records for as long as that relationship requires. Technical log data is kept by Cloudflare for limited periods in line with its own retention practices.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your information;
- ask us to transfer your information to another organisation, where applicable.

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

We will update this page if the way we handle personal information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
